All of the stress of the last few weeks may have taken it's toll temporarily, but I'm feeling much better now.  It's amazing how much more energy I have this week than last week.  I had forgotten for 8 weeks what it was like to sleep through the night, and now I am feeling so much better rested because I don't have to wake up in the middle of the night to express milk.  Feeding with formula has its own challenges, but we are adapting well.

Formula feedings have helped me notice patterns in Rebekah's eating habits, and she is now on somewhat of a schedule.  Because I know what she'll need and when, I can get things done when she's quietly playing or sleeping.

I am finally able to get things organized and caught up.  We had gotten behind on the mail, paying bills, laundry, etc.  Because I'd been sick, dinner had often been take-out, and it's nice to be able to eat food that I fix and that doesn't cost a bundle and blow our budget.

The house is actually beginning to look tidier than it has since before Rebekah was born.  This week I reorganized our bedroom.  Where her co-sleeper had been, we've now put Joe's nightstand back in it's proper place.  We've reclaimed the space in our bedroom at last.  The co-sleeper has become the much-needed changing table in Rebekah's room.  And this week her bedding set also arrived, and so her room is as done as it's going to be for now.  By the way, she loves her bedding set with its suns and stars, whales, and dolphins, and other animals.
