Despite our difficult start with bathtime, Rebekah is now loving her baths!   After the first bathtime when she fussed all the way through it, my friend Kathya told me how she got Emily to like her bath, so I decided to try it.  I took a cloth diaper and wet it and laid it across Rebekah while she was in her tub.  Every now and then I'd have to be sure to re-warm it since it got cold pretty quickly.  During the bath I would uncover each part of her as I washed it, then rinse it and cover her back up.   It worked!  She fussed a little bit at the beginning the first time, but after that she was fine. 

By now we no longer use the diaper and she's learned to love getting her baths.  Sometimes she'll even inadvertently splash me!  We're slowly extending her bath time since she seems to like it so much.  And except for the one time when she peed in the tub (mom cleans up) and then pooped in the tub (mom cleans up again), bathtime generally goes very smoothly.

After the bath, Rebekah loves getting wrapped up in a towel and patted dry.  She is starting to coo and smiles a lot as I get her ready for bed.  After she's bathed and dressed for bed, she takes a few more ounces of milk and is ready to sleep for 6-8 hours!
