One night this week we took the opportunity to go out to the mall. So we finally got the stroller out and happily used the entire 4-in-one travel system we had bought so expectantly in July.
I desperately needed new shoes so I could keep up my walks with Rebekah. Actually, I'd needed new shoes for a few months, but it's not a good time to buy new shoes when your feet are swollen a size or 2 too big! Now that my feet were back to normal, it was definitely time for new shoes. A trip to Lady Footlocker quickly remedied the situation.
I also was running low on nice clothes of the quality appropriate for church. All of my clothes were either way too big (maternity) or way to small (pre-pregnancy outfits). Surely a diet is the most certain way to remedy the situation, but we needed something for me to wear in the meantime. We stopped at JCPenneys and picked up an outfit that fits me now and won't eat me alive once I lose the rest of my pregnancy weight.
Rebekah was good for almost the whole time, though by the end of our trip she had a dirty diaper and was getting hungry. We quickly returned home and changed and fed her.
