This morning Joe returned the favor I paid him yesterday. At 5:30AM when Rebekah awoke and started complaining about being hungry, Joe scooped her out of bed and took her downstairs for an hour and a half, allowing me to get some much-needed sleep. I know I had been quite tired, since last night I slept for 4 hours in a half-sitting position with Rebekah on my chest! Though I nearly cried when Joe took her from the room, I sincerely appreciated the extra sleep.
We took Rebekah to church again today. She was so cute dressed in her dress and bonnet! It's so neat to hear everyone ooh-ing and aah-ing about how beautiful and precious she is. One of the greeters today said, "Oh, if she's under a month she comes to me...and I'll give her back in 15 years!" My response..."No way!" The people in the nursery recognized Rebekah from last week, and we left her with them for the whole service this time. She apparently did quite well - woke up once, took her bottle, and went back to sleep by the time we picked her up.
